摘要： A plurality of lighting units using light emitting diodes as light sources is accommodated in a lamp housing in such a state as to be supported on a common metallic support member provided tiltably. When a part or all of the lighting units are turned on, the light emitting diodes generate heat with a light emission. These light emitting diodes are supported on the common metallic support member. Also in the case in which any of the lighting units is turned on, therefore, the heat generated by the light emitting diodes is moved to the metallic support member having a large heat capacity through boards and light source support blocks by a heat conducting function. Consequently, a rise in the temperatures of the light emitting diodes can be suppressed.

摘要： PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an infrared light radiation lamp which is not misidentified as a tail lamp or a stop lamp and prevents heat accumulation in an infrared transmission globe. SOLUTION: The infrared light radiation lamp which comprises a lamp chamber S which is demarcated by a lamp body 12 and a front lens, a reflector 16 formed inside the lamp body 12, a light source 20 installed in front of the reflector 16 in the lamp chamber S, and a cylindrical globe 30A for infrared light generation which is arrayed to cover the light source 20 and shields the visible light and transmits the infrared light only. A luminous flux of the red light component L2 distributed forward from the center area of the front lens is reduced and red light radiation of the lamp is attenuated by arranging the globe 30A for infrared light generation away from the reflector 16 and guiding a part of the source light L3 directly to a light source peripheral area 16a of the reflector 16 from a clearance 31 between the reflector 16 and a back end part of the globe 30. Air convection is generated between inside and outside of the globe 30A through a gap 31 between the reflector 16 and the back end of the globe 30, and heat radiation is improved.

摘要： An infrared light irradiation lamp for an automobile comprises a lighting chamber S formed by a lamp body 12 and a front lens 14, a reflector 16 provided in the lamp body 12, a light source 20 provided ahead of the reflector 16, a cylindrical globe 30 for infrared light formation provided to cover the light source 20 and serving to shield a visible light and to transmit only an infrared light and a globe moving mechanism 70 for moving the globe 30, the globe moving mechanism 70 being capable of switching a lamp function into an infrared light irradiation configuration in which the globe 30 covers the light source and a visible light irradiation configuration in which the globe 30 is moved forward from the light source 20, wherein power regulating means is provided on a power supply path reaching the light source 20 and a power supplied from the light source at time of infrared light irradiation is regulated to be lower than a power supplied from the light source at time of visible light irradiation. The amount of heat generated from the light source 20 covered with the glove 30 is reduced so that the inside of the glove 30 does not have such a high temperature that the infrared ray transmission characteristic of the glove and the lifetime of the light source are not adversely influenced.
