摘要： PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image forming device that is configured to allow fixing liquid containing a plasticizer to exhibit its function at a use environmental temperature or higher, to prevent contamination of resin in the image forming device except toner, and to prevent excessive supply of the fixing liquid and the plasticizer by maintaining the concentration of the fixing liquid substantially constant.SOLUTION: An electrostatic latent image is written by an optical write unit 3 on the surfaces of photoreceptor drums 2Y, 2C, 2M, 2K to form toner images on the surfaces of the photoreceptor drums 2Y, 2C, 2M, 2K using developing devices 12Y, 12C, 12M, 12K. The toner images on the photoreceptor drums 2Y, 2C, 2M, 2K are transferred onto a transfer conveyance belt 4, sequentially. A fixing liquid applying unit 18 applies fixing liquid onto a recording medium 9 conveyed from a registration roller 16. A secondary transfer unit 7 transfers the toner images on the transfer conveyance belt 4 onto the recording medium 9. The concentration of the fixing liquid in the fixing liquid applying unit 18 is controlled.
