An emission direction of the light-emitting element coincides with the width direction. The reflection member includes first to third reflection units. The second reflection unit is so arranged as to reflect light entering through the light-emitting element to the first and/or third reflection unit without passing through other reflection units. The first and third reflection units are so arranged as to mutually opposingly irradiate the document read region with light, and reflect light entering through the light-emitting element and/or the second reflection unit to the document read region without passing through other reflection units.
