摘要： PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To eliminate complicatedness and waste of time due to resupplying a power source, by immediately taking out paper of a paper stacking device, even if the whole system transfers to an energy-saving mode. SOLUTION: When an image forming system 20 transfers to a resting mode, a paper stacking device 2 and a paper stacking device 3 lower a lifting tray 5 on a carriage in the paper stacking devices by reception of a signal of indicating the transfer to the resting mode from an image forming device 1. After the lifting tray 5 reaches the lowest position, a lock of a door lock mechanism 14 is released. When the image forming device 1 receives information for releasing the lock of the lock mechanism 14 from the paper stacking device 2 and the paper stacking device 3, the image forming device 1 transfers to the resting mode by cutting off the power source except for a control board 17a required for return from the resting mode and the power source of the paper stacking device 2 and the paper stacking device 3.
