The developing roller uses a contactless developing system and the transferring step exerts pressure of 10 to 100 N/cm 2 between the transfer roller 52 and the photoreceptor, in which the temperature to be applied to the transfer paper ranges from the glass transition temperature to softening temperature of the toners.
