The feeding side tension adjustment mechanism (96) and the winding side tension adjustment mechanism (126) are displaced from each other in a direction perpendicular to the feeding direction of the printing medium (M) and are partly overlapped with each other in a side view where the feeding direction is a front direction.

摘要： The object of the invention is to provide a structure capable of reducing the driving force for moving heads and making ink droplets ejected from a printer head hardly adhering to a cutting head. To resolve this object, there is provided a printer-plotter comprises a guide rail 40 extending in the lateral direction above a sheet-like medium M, first and second heads 50, 60 which are supported by the guide rail 40 and are movable in the lateral direction independently from each other, and a driving device 80 having a driving force transmitting member 85 which extend along the guide rail 40 and is movable in the lateral direction. After the first head 50 is connected to the driving force transmitting member 85 by a first connecting mechanism 110 and the second head 60 is separated from the driving force transmitting member 85, the printing or cutting process relative to the sheet-like medium M is conducted while the driving force transmitting member 85 is driven by the driving device 80 to move the first head 50 in the lateral direction. After the second head 60 is connected to the driving force transmitting member 85 by a second connecting mechanism 120 and the first head 50 is separated from the driving force transmitting member 85, the printing or cutting process relative to the sheet-like medium M is conducted while the driving force transmitting member 85 is driven by the driving device 80 to move the second head 60 in the lateral direction.

摘要： To provide a printer or the like capable of changing the state of clamping relative to a sheet-like medium with a simple structure according to features of the subject to be processed (the sheet-like medium). To this end, there is provided a printer-plotter that comprises a feeding mechanism having a feeding roller 21 and a pinch roller 130 for feeding a sheet-like medium clamped therebetween, and a slider 200 which is supported by and movable along the guide rail 40 in the lateral direction. A roller assembly 100 has levers 155, 165 capable of changing the state of clamping a sheet-like medium according to their angular positions. The slider 200 is provided with an arm 210 which can be displaced between an engaging position where the arm 210 is engaged with the levers 155, 165 and a standby position where the arm 210 is not engaged with the levers 155, 165 so as to pass through the levers 155, 165 according to the movement of the slider. The state of clamping the sheet-like medium can be changed by displacing the arm 210 between the engaging position and the standby position while moving the slider 200 so as to set the angular positions of the levers.

To conduct a predetermined action relative to the medium M by using the second head 60, the second head 60 is connected to the driving carriage 85 by a second connecting mechanism 121 and the first head 50 is separated from the driving carriage 85.
