摘要： PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a power line communication device suitable for a power line environment in which the same systems or different systems coexist. SOLUTION: In power line communication using a power line 3A of a single-phase three-wire system, a communication band for a different system which is an exclusive communication band is assigned to power line communication between different systems among communication bands usable for power line communication devices 2A-2D. In addition, a communication band for the same system which is an exclusive communication band is assigned to power line communication between the same systems. Then, when new power line communication is executed when the power line communication is performed using either of the communication band for different system or the communication band for the same system, whether or not a communication partner with whom the communication is executed is connected to a power line of a different system with a communication partner with whom the communication is under execution at present is determined, and when it is determined that the communication partner is connected to the different system, a communication band different from either of the communication band for the different system or the communication band for the same system which is used at present is started and controlled.
