摘要： [Problem] To provide a simple helmet which requires as little storage space as possible, and which can be quickly set to a usable state. [Solution] This simple helmet (1) is provided with: a thick plate member (3) that has a through hole (2) into which a human head can fit; a telescopic cylinder (4) that is telescopically accommodated inside the through hole (2) of the thick plate member (3), and has one end side held on the inner peripheral surface of the through hole (2) and the other end side capable of extending upward from the upper surface of the thick plate member (3); and a protective plate (5) that is provided on the other end side of the telescopic cylinder (4) so as to cover the through hole (2), and mitigates external impacts. Accordingly, when normally not in use, the telescopic cylinder (4) is accommodated in a shortened state inside the through hole (2) of the thick plate member (3); however, when in use, the head (10) enters the lower opening of the through hole (2) while the thick plate member (3) is pressed downward, such that the telescopic cylinder (4) is immediately extended upward and the head (10) is inserted into the extended telescopic cylinder (4).
