    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a magnification apparatus for reading, with which braking operation for a Y table and an X table and button operation such as for a zooming button are easy, and which is adjustable to be in a half braking state.SOLUTION: A magnification apparatus for reading comprises: a brake lever for Y table 81; and a brake tab for Y table 100 provided at one of corner parts in a front face side of a Y table 30. The above structure makes brake operation easier than a structure in which the brake tab for Y table 100 is provided at a corner part of a back side of the Y table. The Y table does not move when weak force is applied thereon while the brake lever for Y table 81 is placed between a brake pad for Y table 82 and a brake shaft 80, however, a half-braked state can be realized in which a certain amount of force can move the Y table slightly against brake force. The magnification apparatus for reading also comprises: a brake tab for X table 102 provided one of corner parts in a front surface side of X table 50, near the brake tab for Y table. The magnification apparatus for reading further comprises: an operation panel 31 in the front surface of the Y table so that imaging operation is easy.

    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an attachment 10 for use with a data visual presenter, which can quickly obtain correspondence between an optical axis of an imaging lens of a data visual presenter 100 and an optical axis of an eyepiece lens of a microscope 20.
      SOLUTION: A cylindrical part 11 is loosely fitted with an eyepiece lens tube 21 of the microscope 20 to be fixed to the eyepiece lens tube 21 by three screw members 14. In this case, while referring to indication lines 12b, a user adjusts the placement position of the cylindrical part 11 so that the center of a through-hole 12a corresponds with the center or the optical axis of the eyepiece lens. The microscope 20 attached with the attachment 10 is placed below a camera head 103 of the data visual presenter 100, and the installation position of the microscope 20 is adjusted so that the outer circumferential surface of the imaging lens tube 104 of the camera head 103 abuts a positioning piece 13 of the attachment 10. Consequently, the optical axis of the eyepiece lens of the microscope 20 corresponds with the optical axis of the imaging lens of the data visual presenter 100.

    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a magnifying reading device which can smoothly move a Y table 30 and an X table 50 even if there is slight deviation in parallelism of rails 23, 24, 40, 41, 37, 38, 53 and 54, which are assembled in pairs to a base frame 20 and the Y table 30.SOLUTION: One second X rail 53 is fixed to an X table 50 and the other second X rail 54 is rotatably assembled to the X table 50 with an X-shaft pin 56 as a fulcrum so that the rail can be displaced in a Y direction by engagement of the X-shaft pin 56 and an X-shaft pin long hole 58. Even if there is the slight deviation in parallelism of both the second X rails 53 and 54, the deviation of the parallelism can be absorbed by displacement of the other second X rail 54 in the Y direction and rotation with the X-shaft pin 56 as the fulcrum. Thus, a movement operation of the X table 50 in an X direction can smoothly be performed.

A first rib 36 to abut against one end of the coil spring 70 and a second rib 37, to abut against the other end of the coil spring 70 are fixed on the zoom dial 30; and the coil spring 70 is compressed by the first rib 36, when the zoom dial 30 is turned clockwise and the coil spring 70 is compressed by the second rib 37, when the zoom dial 30 is turned counterclockwise.
