摘要： A clothes dryer provided with washing tub, an air circulator and a heat pump and drying laundry by operation of the air circulator and the heat pump. The rotational speed of a compressor is changed by controlling frequency, and the clothes dryer can be operated by selection of either a quick-drying mode for drying the laundry in a relatively short time by changing a drive frequency of the compressor or a saving mode for drying the laundry in a time longer than the time of the quick-drying mode. In the saving mode, the compressor is driven in a frequency band providing a high coefficient of performance.

When only the drying course is selected or bathtub water is used in the washing and drying course, drying is performed by using a heat pump 34 in the first half of drying operation, and drying is performed by using the PTC heater 41 heated for disinfection in the second half of the drying operation. 摘要： To provide a clothes drying machine with a heat pump for drying the clothes, capable of preventing the temperature of a condenser and the pressure of a refrigerant on the high-pressure side in the latter half period of the drying operation from becoming preset values or higher, and capable of increasing the speed of temperature rise in a drying chamber in the initial period of the drying operation. Outside air is introduced during the drying operation from an outside air intake disposed at an area between a place where an evaporator is disposed and a place where the condenser is disposed in a ventilation path, so that the temperature of the condenser and the pressure of the refrigerant on the high-pressure side in the latter half of the drying operation will not become preset values or higher. As a result, it is not necessary to reduce the labor of a compressor, and therefore, a high drying performance can be achieved in the clothes drying machine. By making a PTC heater provided at the outside air intake generate heat in the initial period of the drying operation, outside air can be introduced into the ventilation path while heated by the PTC heater. Accordingly, the speed of temperature rise in the drying chamber can be increased in the initial period of the drying operation, and therefore, the drying operation can be finished early.
