    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To stabilize dispersion without inhibiting conductivity of a conductive assistant, to improve binding force between battery material powder and a binder constituent, and to improve battery performance of a battery manufactured by using it, in a composition for a battery containing a conductive assistant. SOLUTION: The above problem is solved by this composition for a battery containing: one or more kinds of derivatives selected from a group comprising an organic dye derivative having a basic functional group, an anthraquinone derivative having a basic functional group, an acridone derivative having a basic functional group, and a triazine derivative having a basic functional group; a resin having an acidic functional group; and a carbon material as a conductive assistant; and also contains a solvent, a binder and a positive electrode active material or a negative electrode active material as required.
