摘要： PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for manufacturing an electric fusion joint preventing floating of an electric heating wire from a recessed groove due to a temperature change under a storage environment and avoiding generation of a void in a fusion interface with a plastic tube in the electric fusion joint having a structure of fitting the electric heating wire into the recessed groove formed in an inner periphery of a thermoplastic resin tube. SOLUTION: This method for manufacturing the electric fusion joint includes: a step of cutting an inner peripheral surface of the thermoplastic resin tube inserted with the plastic tube therein to form the U-shaped recessed groove 2; a step of pressing a wall surface of the recessed groove 2 to form tongue portions on both sides of a recessed groove opening; a step of mounting the electric heating wire 3 into the recessed groove 2; and a step of pressing the tongue portions to press the electric heating wire 3 on the depth of the recessed groove 2. The recessed groove 2 is formed into a spiral shape including a small spiral pitch portion and a large spiral pitch, a width of the recessed groove 2 is formed in a dimension which is the same as a diameter of the electric heating wire 3 or is slightly narrower than the diameter, and a depth of the recessed groove 2 is formed in a dimension which is deeper than the diameter of the electric heating wire 3. The recessed groove portion having a small spiral pitch is formed in a dimension shallower than the recessed groove portion having a large spiral pitch. COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT
