摘要： An electrically actuated booster performs displacement control such that the relative displacement relationship between an input member and an assist member is variable according to the absolute displacement of the input member. A target displacement that makes variable the relative displacement relationship between an input piston and a booster piston is set according to a detection signal from a potentiometer (86), and displacement control is performed so that the relative displacement between the two pistons becomes equal to the target displacement on the basis of a signal from a relative displacement sensor (100) that detects the relative displacement between the two pistons.

摘要： PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a brake device capable of ensuring necessary liquid pressure by using an electric booster as a liquid pressure source of a disk brake having an electric parking brake mechanism. SOLUTION: A liquid pressure unit 5 integrally provided with a tandem type master cylinder 6 and an electric booster 7 is piping-connected to a disk brake 1 having an electric parking brake mechanism arranged on the rear side and a generation purpose disk brake 2 arranged on the front side. When the parking brake is operated, a circuit communicated with the generation purpose disk brake 2 is closed by solenoid valves 10, 11, and the electric booster 7 is operated by an electric motor 13 to increase the liquid pressure in the master cylinder 6. Substantially at the same time, the electric parking brake mechanism is operated by an electric motor 12, and a piston is advanced in cooperation with the liquid pressure fed from the master cylinder 6 and the driving force of the electric motor 12 to generate a large braking force.
