    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a lens drive device, securing the driving force for driving a lens and achieving miniaturization. SOLUTION: A driving mechanism for driving a mover holding the lens and moving in the direction of an optical axis includes: a driving magnet formed substantially like a column and disposed on the outer peripheral side of the mover; and a driving coil 18 wound substantially like a polygonal prism and disposed with the inner peripheral surface thereof opposite to the outer peripheral surface of the driving magnet through a predetermined gap. The driving magnet is magnetized to generate magnetic flux passing through the driving coil 18 at a position opposite to the driving coil 18. The mover includes a coil fixing member 8 to which the driving coil 18 is fixed. One flat surface 18b of the flat surfaces 18a, 18b constituting the driving coil 18 is a fixed part fixed to the coil fixing member 8. In the coil fixing member 8, a plane-like fixing surface 8a to which the fixed part 18b is fixed is formed, and the fixing surface 8a and the fixed surface 18b are substantially parallel to each other.     • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a lens drive device capable of achieving miniaturization, even though an outside diameter of a lens arranged on an anti-subject side becomes larger. SOLUTION: A movable body 2 capable of moving in an optical axis direction includes: a lens holder 7 in which a plurality of lenses are fixed; and a nearly cylindrical holder fixing member 8 in which the lens holder 7 is fixed. A large-diameter part 7a, for fixing a large-diameter lens that has an outside diameter larger than other lenses out of the plurality of lenses and that is arranged on the anti-subject side, is formed at an anti-subject side section of the lens holder 7, and an inside diameter of the holder fixing member 8 is smaller than the outside diameter of the large-diameter part 7a. The large-diameter part 7a is arranged on the anti-subject side of the anti-subject side end face 8b of the holder fixing member 8. Also, an abutting part 12b, on which the anti-subject side end face 8b abuts, is formed on a stator 3 holding the movable body 2 movably, and the abutting part 12b is arranged between the large-diameter part 7a and the anti-subject side end face 8b in the optical axis direction.     • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a lens driving device for enhancing fixing strength of a first case body and a second case body combined in an optical axis direction, and suppressing passage of an electromagnetic wave between the inside and outside of the device in a comparatively simple configuration. SOLUTION: The lens driving device 1 includes a movable body 2 for holding a lens, a drive mechanism for driving the movable body 2, and the first case body 11 and the second case body 12 mutually fixed to be combined in the optical axis direction. The first case body 11 is formed of a magnetic material and arranged in an object side so as to surround the drive mechanism. The second case body 12 is formed of a resin material and arranged in an anti-object side. An attaching recess 12b for attaching the lens driving device 1 to portable equipment is formed on the outer peripheral face of the second case body 12. An extending part 11e extended to the anti-object side is formed at a position avoiding the attaching recess 12b so as to be overlapped from the outside on the outer peripheral face of the second case body 12 in the first case body 11.
