    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a light-shielding composition which is suitable as a light-shielding layer of a touch panel, is excellent in chemical resistance, light resistance, and insulating properties, and is capable of forming an image by photolithography, and to provide a cured film thereof.SOLUTION: The light-shielding composition for a touch panel contains: a copolymer (A) which has a plurality of repeating units, comprises 20-90 mol% of a repeating unit derived from diester glycerol in which hydroxyl groups at both ends are esterified with a (meth)acrylate and 10-80 mol% of a repeating unit derived from one or more polymerizable unsaturated compounds copolymerizable with that repeating unit, and has a number-average molecular weight of 2,000-20,000 and an acid value of 35-120 mgKOH/g; and carbon black (B) subjected to an insulation treatment. The cured film is obtained by curing the light-shielding composition.
