摘要： PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To establish a method for diagnosing an electrochemical sensor capable of simply and certainly diagnosing whether diffusibility is lowered or not in the electrochemical sensor equipped with a diffusion control plate having a diffusion control hole. SOLUTION: In the method for diagnosing the electrochemical sensor constituted so as to diagnose whether the diffusibility is lowered or not, the measuring step for measuring the electrical characteristics between a detection electrode and a counter electrode as a fluctuation state in the case that the electric characteristics between both electrodes fluctuate, the comparison step for comparing the fluctuation state measured in the measuring step with the standard state corresponding to a state that the diffusion control opening is perfectly opened, and the determining step for determining that the diffusibility is lowered in the case that the fluctuation state is offset from the standard state are executed in the case that the electrical characteristics between the detection electrode and the counter electrode fluctuate. 摘要： PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To carry out analysis with consideration for the state of polarization of a counter electrode by determining shifted polarization characteristic with consideration for the portion of output voltage of an external power unit with respect to the polarization characteristic of a counter electrode to be inputted, using this characteristic as boundary condition in the counter electrode, and performing numerical analysis by the use of a finite element method, etc. SOLUTION: The object of analysis is an electric protection field where a corrosion protection current is allowed to flow from a counter electrode 4 to an object 3 of corrosion protection by a constant voltage generator 14. In this case, shifted polarization characteristic where, with respect to the previously determined polarization characteristic of the counter electrode 4, the electric potential of the polarization characteristic in which signs of electric potential are reversed is shifted to the noble potential side by the portion of output voltage of the constant voltage generator 14. Simultaneously, with respect to the polarization characteristic of the object 3 of corrosion protection, the reverse polarization characteristic of the object of corrosion protection in which signs of electric potential are reversed is determined. While using the shifted polarization characteristic and the reverse polarization characteristic of the object of corrosion protection as boundary conditions in the model parts corresponding to the counter electrode 4 and the object 3 of corrosion protection, respectively, analysis is carried out by a numerical analysis means and a solution is obtained.

[SOLUTION] In a cell for a solid oxide fuel cell (SOFC) comprising a Cr (chrome)-containing alloy or oxide and an air electrode bonded together, wherein on the surface of the alloy or oxide, there is formed a coating layer containing a spinel oxide comprised of a first mono metal oxide and a second mono metal oxide, the first mono metal oxide having an equilibrium dissociated oxygen partial pressure at 750°C ranging from 1.83 x 10 -20 to 3.44 x 10 -13 atm., the second mono metal oxide having a lower equilibrium dissociated oxygen partial pressure at 750°C than the first mono metal oxide.
