    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a plastic card having a printing-recording layer excellent in printing acceptability, rub resistance, and chemical resistance, and to provide a silkscreen ink composition used for the same. SOLUTION: The plastic card 1 having the printing-recording layer is a card having a printable and recordable layer on the surface of the card. The printable and recordable layer 5 comprises a layer printed with a silkscreen ink constituted by adding a suitable amount of solvent to a composition constituted by adding 0.5 to 2.8 mass% of fine particulate polyethylene wax and 0.2 to 0.5 mass% of fine particulate polytetrafluoroethylene wax to a binder, comprising an acrylic resin as a main component and vinyl chloride-vinyl acetate resin added thereto, in a solid base ratio excepting the solvent.     • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a transparent card which can reduce the amount of an infrared absorber used by using a substrate transparent to a visible light region and partially printing an infrared absorbing ink on a transparent part in a design and is inexpensive. SOLUTION: This transparent card is a plastic card in which a shielding ink is printed on a substrate of a laminate of a plurality of transparent plastic cards or a single transparent plastic card while leaving a transparent pattern in a part of the substrate. The transparent pattern is printed with a printing ink containing an infrared absorber having the maximum absorption region at a wavelength of 800 to 1050 nm. The printing ink is prepared by mixing 100 parts by mass of a binder with at least 2.0 to 3.0 parts by mass of a first infrared absorber having a maximum absorption region at a wavelength of 800 to 950 nm and 6.5 to 8.0 parts by mass of a second infrared absorber having the maximum absorption region at a wavelength of 950 to 1050 nm.     • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a transparent card which has visually excellent transparent feeling and the machine reading aptitude for an ATM, CD or the like, and to provide its manufacturing method. SOLUTION: The transparent card 1 comprises a card which keeps transparent oversheets 13 and 14 overlying the exterior surface of transparent core sheets 11 and 12, and is characterized in that the coating of the printing ink containing an infrared absorption agent having the maximum absorption region in the wavelength of 800 nm-900 nm is carried out to the whole of one surface of the transparent core sheets 11 and 12, the coating of the printing ink containing an infrared absorption agent having the maximum absorption region in the wavelength of 1,000 nm or more is carried out to the whole surface of another surface of the transparent core sheets, and the transparent oversheets overlie the coated surface side. The transparent core sheets may be a single layer, and the printing inks containing an infrared absorption agent may be coated in piles so that both coating positions may be in agreement with a portion of an optical transmission nature measuring domain which JISX6305 specifies.
