    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a combustion control method of a gasification melting system, capable of suppressing generation of NOx to perform a stable operation.SOLUTION: A gasification melting system thermally decomposes wastes supplied via a dust supplier into a gasifying furnace 3, introduces thermally decomposed gas generated in the gasifying furnace with combustion air into a melting furnace 6 via a thermally decomposed gas duct 25, melts ashes with the combustion heat of the thermally decomposed gas in the melting furnace 6, and then combusts the unburned portion in combustion exhaust gas in a secondary combustion chamber 12 connected to the melting furnace 6. A combustion control method for the gasification melting system controls a combustion air supply amount to a treatment furnace based on detection factors showing a furnace inside status in any one treatment furnace of the gasifying furnace 3, the melting furnace 6 and the secondary combustion chamber 12. When measured luminance exceeds a set value, a part of the combustion air supplied to the thermally decomposed gas duct 25 is supplied from an auxiliary air nozzle 15 disposed at a position different from the thermally decomposed gas duct connection part of the melting furnace 6 into the melting furnace.

    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method and a system for treating incineration ash, in each of which chlorine contained in the incineration ash can be reduced surely to the definite concentration or less by washing the incineration ash with water.
      SOLUTION: The system for treating incineration ash is provided with a water washing facility 100 for washing the incineration ash 30 with water to remove the chlorine contained in the incineration ash. An unburnt content measuring means 1 for measuring a residual rate of the unburnt content of the incineration ash and a sorting means 2 for sorting the incineration ash on the basis of the residual rate of the unburnt content are arranged in the preceding stages of the water washing facility 100. Only the incineration ash 32 which is sorted by the sorting means 2 and has the residual rate, which is lower than a predetermined threshold, of the unburnt content, is sent to the water washing facility 100. The incineration ash 31 having the residual rate, which is not lower than the threshold, of the unburnt content is preferably thrown in a heating furnace or returned to an incineration furnace and reheated therein.
