摘要： PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a fuel cell, capable of satisfactorily keeping drainability of water in a supply passage over long periods, having high power generation efficiency and reliability by arranging a dense material having a hydrophilic surface, at least in one of the supply passage of fuel or an oxidizing agent. SOLUTION: A dense material 500, having a hydrophilic surface arranged in an anode side channel 300, is fixed between a frame body 20 and the anode side channel 300 by projecting parts 550, 550 arranged on a back face of the frame body 20 between through-holes 202 and 204 and between 206 and 208. A width of these projecting parts 550 is set not more than about half of the width of the anode side channel 300, so as not to hinder a flow of fuel. Moisture in a gas-liquid mixture flowing in the anode side channel 300 flows by flowing along the hydrophilic surface of the dense material 500 by arranging the dense material 500, and does not hinder a flow of the fuel. Since the dense material 500 becomes strong in sticking force, even if a fuel cell is operated for many hours, a hydrophilic material and a coating film hardly separate, to satisfactorily keep drainability of water in a supply passage.

摘要： PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a solid high polymer type fuel cell capable of preventing condensation of the moisture contained in the humidification reacting gas in an inlet range of a gas channel in a plate of a cell stack. SOLUTION: One surface of the plate 1 is provided with the gas channel 2, and the other surface thereof is provided with a water channel. Other plates are provided with gas channels opposite to the gas channel 2 of the plate 1. A gas inlet header part 4 is provided in an upper part of the gas channel 2 of the plate 1, and a water inlet header part is provided in an upper part of the water channel to face to a back side of the gas inlet header part. Cooling water as a heat medium is supplied from a water supplying manifold hole 7 to the water inlet to heat it, and the gas inlet header is heated by thermal conduction to prevent condensation of the moisture contained in the reacting gas (humidification fuel gas) in the inlet range of the gas channel 2. 摘要： PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a separator for a polymer electrolyte fuel cell preventing infiltration of condensed water into a gas flow channel for reaction gas contributing to an electrochemical reaction and capable of securing a uniform power generation through a whole face of a unit cell stably for along period of time by quickly eliminating retention of the infiltrating water. SOLUTION: Of the separator 30 fitted with a nozzle plate 20 between a manifold 31 for supply of reaction gas and gas inflow end part 40 of a reaction gas flow channel 33, the nozzle plate 20 is almost shaped like a square plate, at one face of which, a plurality of convex nozzles 23 are fitted in the same direction as the reaction gas flow channel and at the same interval so as to get protruded from one end part in a length direction to another end part in a length direction.
