    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To simplify a piping structure in an outer casing 9 and minimizing a length of external piping to a heating device 2 and an auxiliary heat source machine 3 in a hybrid storage type hot water supply device including a hot water storage tank 1 received in the outer casing 9, the heating device 2 for heating tank water while circulating the same from a bottom section to a top section of the hot water storage tank 1, and the auxiliary heat source machine 3 for auxiliarily heating warm water tapped from the hot water storage tank 1, and further provided with a water supply connection port 91, a hot water supply connection port 92, a going connection port 93 and a returning connection port 94 for the auxiliary heat source machine 3, and a going connection port 95 and a returning connection port 96 for the heating device 2, on the outer casing 9. SOLUTION: The water supply connection port 91, the hot water supply connection port 92, and the going connection port 93 and the returning connection port 94 for the auxiliary heat source machine 3, are formed on the same face 9a of the outer casing 9, and the going connection port 95 and the returning connection port 96 for the heating device 2 are formed on the other one face 9b of the outer casing 9.     • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To minimize radiation loss from a hot water storage tank, with respect to the hot water storage tank composed of a tank body 11 long in the vertical direction, three tank supporting pieces 12 disposed on a lower peripheral face of the tank body at intervals in the circumferential direction and extending downward, and a heat insulating material for covering the tank body. SOLUTION: The heat insulating material is composed of three blocks 13 1 , 13 2 , 13 3 divided into three in the circumferential direction on the same circumferential position as three tank supporting pieces 12. Each of the blocks 13 1 , 13 2 , 13 3 has a peripheral wall section 13a covering a peripheral face of the tank body 11 and long in the vertical direction, an upper wall section 13b extending radially inward from an upper end of the peripheral wall section 13a and covering a top section of the tank body 11, and a lower wall section 13c extending radially inward through a clearance gap of two tank supporting pieces 12 adjacent to each other in the circumferential direction from a lower end of the peripheral wall section 13a, and covering a bottom section of the tank body 11.     • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To change a drain hose outlet position according to positional relationship between an installation place of a hot water storage tank unit and a burying part of a drain groove, in pulling out the drain hose connected to an outlet of a pressure relief valve opened when a pressure in a hot water storage tank reaches a prescribed value or more, to a lower part of a bottom plate of an outer casing. SOLUTION: In this hot water storage tank unit which is composed of the hot water storage tank 2, and the outer casing 3 receiving the hot water storage tank, and provided with tank supporting pieces 31b vertically disposed on a front section and a back section of the bottom plate 31 of the outer casing 31 in a state of extending upward, and in which the tank supporting pieces are fixed to a lower peripheral face of the hot water storage tank to support the hot water storage tank in the outer casing, the bottom plate 31 has an opening 31c positioned between the front section and the back section where the tank supporting pieces 31b are vertically disposed, in a state of being longitudinally continued in the lateral direction, and a cover plate 38 made of foamed resin and closing the opening 31c is detachably mounted on the bottom plate 31.     • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve the heating efficiency of a hybrid hot water supply system which includes: a low speed heater for heating water using heat quantity which atmosphere has; a hot water storage tank for storing hot water heated by the low speed heater; and a rapid heater heating water flowing in a hot water passage from the hot water storage tank. SOLUTION: The hybrid hot water supply system includes: a hot water filling route 50 which branches from a mixed hot water route 34b passed through the rapid heater 40 and leads to a bath tub 64; and a stop valve 52 for opening and closing the hot water filling route. The hybrid hot water supply system performs: (1) processing of monitoring the occurrence of a phenomenon in which the temperature of hot water discharged from the hot water tank to the hot water route 34a becomes below a hot water filling set temperature; (2) processing of determining whether the whole quantity of the hot water discharged from the hot water tank flows in the hot water filling route 50 or not when the phenomenon in (1) occurs; and (3) processing of closing the stop valve 52 when the whole flows in (2) and starting the operation of the rapid heater 40 when not the whole flows.
