摘要： PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent noise caused by extension/contraction of an energizing spring by a simple and inexpensive configuration in a lock device for a vehicular seat. SOLUTION: The lock device is provided with a catch mechanism 1 and a striker 2. In the catch mechanism 1, a lock plate 4 and a cam plate 5 regulating rotation of the lock plate 4 are mounted to a base material 3, and the energizing spring 8 is provided between the lock plate 4 and the cam plate 5. The lock device is further provided with a first regulating member 31 abutting on the energizing spring 8 and regulating its vibration at the time of lock-on operation and a second regulating member 32 abutting on the energizing spring 8 and regulating its vibration at the time of lock-off operation. Due to this configuration, in both cases of the lock-on operation and lock-off operation, vibration of the energizing spring 8 is regulated and noise caused by side vibration, or "spring snapping" is prevented. Thus, quiet operation of the lock device is achieved, and improvement of the commercial value of the lock device can be expected as a result. COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT
