摘要： PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve the problem apt to be caused in a sheet carrying device having adjacent two guide members. SOLUTION: The image forming device having a sheet carrying mechanism includes a first guide member (a top cover 100) for constituting a wall of a passage for carrying a sheet and guiding the sheet, a second guide member (a rear cover 200) adjacently arranged on the downstream side in the sheet carrying direction of the first guide member and constituting a wall of a passage for carrying the sheet, a plurality of first carrying ribs 110 arranged in the first guide member and extending along the sheet carrying direction, and a plurality of second carrying ribs 210 arranged in the second guide member and extending along the sheet carrying direction. The second carrying rib 210A includes an inclining part 211 slantingly extending up to an outside position from an inside position of the first carrying rib 110A adjacent to the second carrying rib 210A toward the downstream side in the sheet carrying direction, and a downstream carrying part 212 extending along the sheet carrying direction from the downstream end in the sheet carrying direction of the inclining part 211.
