    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a lighting fixture which provides a visual effect as if a shade emits light although the temperature of a lighting means can hardly rises. SOLUTION: The fixture comprises a body 1 in which a socket 11 mechanically and electrically connected to a lamp La as a light source is prepared and a lighting circuit to light the lamp La is installed; a reflecting plate 2 which is placed between the lighting circuit and the light emitting part of the lamp La and distribute the light from the lamp La, and a shade 3 which is made of a light transmitting material and surrounds the reflecting plate 2 and the body 1. The shade 3 is projected lower than the reflecting plate 2. The light incident on the shade 3 travels in it while being reflected and exits from the shade 3 and provides an optical effect as if the shade 3 emits light. Since the radiant heat from the lamp La to the lighting circuit is blocked by the reflecting plate 2 and the light from the lamp La enters the shade 3 at the lower end, the temperature of the shade 3 around the lighting means can hardly rise.     • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a luminaire for making compact an illuminator and simplifying execution by reducing the number of components. SOLUTION: The luminaire comprises a lighting load 2; a power supply control section 3 for for supplying an operation power supply to the lighting load 2 and controlling the lighting state of the lighting load 2; a detection section 4 having a human body detection sensor section for detecting the presence or absence of a human and an illuminance sensor section for detecting illuminance at the periphery; and a body 1, where the lighting load 2, the power supply control section 3, and the detection section 4 are mounted. The power supply control section 3 performs control so that high-luminance lighting is made when the human body sensor section detects the human in a normal mode while the illuminance by the illuminance sensor section is darker than a specific level and light control lighting is made by low luminance as compared with high luminance when the human body sensor section detects the human in a slight lighting mode.
