SOLUTION: The illumination lighting device 1 has a lighting circuit 2 for lighting up a discharge lamp La by supplying lighting-up power to the discharge lamp La, a timer 31 for clocking accumulated operation time of the lighting circuit 2, a lifetime decision unit 32 for setting a plurality of decision time in order to determine a last stage of lifetime of components excluding a light source at a plurality of stages and generating a lifetime decision signal at the corresponding last stage of lifetime whenever the accumulated operation time reaches each decision time, a report unit 4 for performing a report operation reporting the corresponding last stage of lifetime by changing output of the lighting circuit 2 when the lifetime decision signal is input from the lifetime decision unit 32, and a decision time adjustment unit 33 for setting distribution on each decision time between a plurality of illumination lighting devices by making decision time of each last stage of lifetime established on the lifetime decision unit 32 change on a time axis, respectively and individually. 摘要： PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electrodeless discharge lamp lighting device capable of securing substantial startup voltage by restraining drop of output voltage of a direct-current power supply circuit at startup without giving stress on components constituting a circuit, and further, preventing occurrence of spark at re-startup after instantaneous voltage drop, and to provide a lighting fixture using the same. SOLUTION: The lighting device is provided with a first startup preparation period T1 started at least before an output voltage Vdc of a direct-current power supply circuit 1 reaches a given value, during which time, a high-frequency power supply circuit 2 impresses on an induction coil 3 a high-frequency voltage Vx of a level giving a load on the direct-current power supply circuit 1 so that an output voltage Vdc of the direct-current power supply circuit 1 does not exceed a given value, and a second startup preparation period T2 in which the high-frequency power supply circuit 2 impresses on the induction coil 3 a high-frequency voltage Vx larger than in the first startup preparation period T1, and that, a high-frequency voltage Vx as large as possible within a range in which the electrodeless discharge lamp 4 does not start up. SOLUTION: The lighting device is provided with a direct-current power supply circuit 1, a high-frequency power supply circuit 2, a driving circuit outputting a drive signal for switching in switching elements Q2, Q3 of the high-frequency power supply circuit 2, a startup circuit for starting the electrodeless discharge lamp 4 by controlling the driving circuit, and an instantaneous voltage drop detecting circuit 5 for detecting the instantaneous voltage drop. The startup circuit starts up the electrodeless discharge lamp 4 after an elapse of a startup preparation period for impressing on an induction coil 3 a high-frequency voltage at which the electrodeless discharge lamp 4 shall not start up, and a startup period for impressing on the induction coil 3 a high-frequency voltage at which the electrodeless discharge lamp 4 can start up, and controls the driving circuit so that a startup preparation period of the re-startup becomes shorter than a startup preparation period at startup for the first time when the instantaneous voltage drop detection circuit 5 detects the instantaneous voltage drop.
