摘要： PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a ladder for refuge by which one can refuge safely and rapidly and an auxiliary ladder sash with a simple structure can be formed when the lower end of the ladder is arranged in an appropriate height from the ground level as a nonuse state.
SOLUTION: Either one of a pair of vertical rods 2, 3 to which both ends of the ladder sash 1 are connected is formed to be relatively movable against the other of them. The ladder for refuge shifts a nonuse state to a use state by transfer of one 2(3)of the vertical rods. The movable side vertical rod 2 protrudes to the lower direction than the other vertical rod 3 in the use state. An auxiliary ladder sash 5 forming a foothold in the case descending to the lower side from the ladder sash 1' disposed at the lowermost end is formed at the protrusion 4 to constitute the ladder for refuge.
