摘要： PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a transmitter/receiver having enhanced transmission characteristic in MIMO (multi-input multi-output)-OFDM (orthogonal frequency division multiplexing) transmission. SOLUTION: A transmitter/receiver includes an error-correction coder, a phase pattern controller, a sub carrier phase hopping unit, a phase pattern modulator, a phase pattern demodulator, a sub carrier phase hopping MIMO signal detector and an error-correction decoder. In the sub carrier phase hopping unit which applies phase rotation to an error-correction coded modulation signal, the phase rotation is patterned, and a phase pattern most suppressing the peak of a transmission signal waveform is selected from among a plurality of phase pattern candidates with a little computational complexity using the phase pattern controlled, so that the peak of the signal waveform can be reduced. Furthermore, the selected phase pattern is transmitted to a receiver using the phase pattern modulator and the phase pattern demodulator, and signal detection is performed in accordance with the above transmitted phase pattern using the sub carrier phase hopping MIMO signal detector, thereby enhancing the transmission characteristics. 摘要： To provide a receiving apparatus and reception method that can reduce degradation due to multipath interference without increasing the amount of computation even in a system that has a large number of subcarriers. A signal detector 205, using the symbol replica generated by symbol replica generator 208 and the channel estimate which a channel estimator 209 estimated based on the received pilot signal, suppresses interference attributed to delayed waves exceeding the GI and outputs a suppressed signal for the receivedsignal. Ademodulator 206 decodes the signal of which interference has been alleviated, to determine code bit LLR as bit likelihood information. A decoder 207 performs an error correction decoding process on the input code bit LLR. If no error exists in the result of error correction decoding, the decoder outputs information bits to complete the reception process. If there is an error in the decoded result, the decoder outputs the code bit LLR to symbol replica generator 208.

摘要： PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To compensate the non-reciprocity of the interference of downlink and uplink in a TDD method by performing MIMO pre-coding which minimizes bit error rate when maximum likelihood detection is performed in a receiver as transmission compensation. SOLUTION: A transmission bit sequence is divided into bit sequences for the number of transmission streams. Each bit sequence is converted into modulated signals by a modulator. The transmitting compensator multiplies weighting coefficients generated using a correlation matrix of the interference noise and impulse response of transmission path returned from a receiver and outputs it as a transmission signal. The weighting coefficients are sequentially calculated under restraint conditions so as to minimize bit error rate when the maximum likelihood detection is performed in the receiver. The transmitting signal is transmitted by an antenna through a switch after converting frequency into RF frequency band respectively. The interference measuring instrument estimates the correlation matrix of the interference noise and the channel estimator estimates the impulse response of transmission path from signals received by each antenna. In the decoding parts 206-1 to 206-T, error correction decoding is performed on the input coded bits. Parallel/serial conversion is performed on the bit sequence after the error correction decoding by a parallel/serial conversion part 207, and a transmission bit sequence is output.

摘要： To obtain excellent reception performance whilst cutting down the amount of computing operation in a MIMO communication system using soft-decision error correction coding. Received waves picked up by receiving antennas 401-1 to 401-R are converted from the radio frequency to the baseband signal by respective receivers 402-1 to 402-R to be output as a received signal. A signal detector 403 calculates bit LLRs of the transmitted signal based on the received signal and the channel-estimated values obtained from a channel estimator 404. The bit LLRs output from signal detector 403 are rearranged by deinterleaver units 405-1 to 405-T in the patterns opposite to the patterns in which interleaving was performed on the transmission side. The bit LLRs after de-interleaving are subjected to an error correction decoding process through decoders 406-1 to 406-T. The bit sequences after decoding are parallel-to-serial converted by a parallel-to-serial converter 407 so that the detected transmission bit sequence is output.
