    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method of manufacturing a belt for electrophotography capable of satisfying a uniform surface property, conductivity and a mechanical strength required for the belt for the electrophotography.
      SOLUTION: This method of manufacturing the belt for the electrophotography is a method of clamping a tubular film comprising a resin composition containing a crystalline thermoplastic resin as a main component, in a cylindrical outer die and a cylindrical inner die having an expandable mechanism, to be heating-and-cooling-treated, the tubular film is amorphous, and the heating and cooling treatment is carried out under the condition of following conditions (1)-(3): (1) where a heating temperature for the heating and cooling treatment in the first step is a glass transition temperature (Tg) or more of the crystalline thermoplastic resin to a temperature (Tx) with the highest crystallization velocity or less, and where the heating temperature is reached at 10°C/min or more of speed, (2) where heating temperatures for the heating and cooling treatment in the second step and thereafter are less than a melting point (Tm) of the crystalline thermoplastic resin exceeding the Tx, (3) a cooling reach temperature for the heating and cooling treatment is the Tg or less.

    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a seamless belt with high durability which is apt to neither generate wrinkles nor have damages by a contact member and ruptures will not occur from an end.
      SOLUTION: A crystalline thermoplastic resin is crystallized to maintain the strength of a belt itself. Furthermore, crystallinity is inclined to be less at width-directional ends than at a width-direction center part, thereby preventing rupture of a seamless belt end, due to brittleness accompanying crystallization.

    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To attach ribs to a seamless belt, without stretching them too much or without creasing them.
      SOLUTION: This machine has two or more rollers 11a, 11b, 11c to circumferentially drive the seamless belt 1 while applying a predetermined tension to the seamless belt 1, and a roller 12 for holding a rib 2 to attach to the seamless belt 1. It can transfer the rib 2 to the inner surface of the seamless belt 1 by keeping the rib 2 currently held on the roller 12, in contact with the inner surface of the seamless belt 1 and turning the rollers 11a, 11b, 11c and the roller 12. The speed of the seamless belt 1 driven by turning rollers 11a, 11b, 11c is synchronized with the peripheral speed of the rib attaching roller 12.
