摘要： PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To surely prevent a belt body such as an intermediate transfer belt, etc., from meandering with a simple constitution and also at a low cost, and to obtain a high quality color image free of positional deviation. SOLUTION: The image forming device is provided with the intermediate transfer belt 18 along which plural image forming parts are arranged, and a means for controlling the meandering of the belt 18 in the width direction is constituted of guide ribs 19 arranged at both edge parts on the rear side of the belt and flanges 20 with inclined parts formed at both end parts of a tension roller 16 of the belt. A belt cleaning unit is installed to face the tension roller, and an end part pressing member 37 is arranged, so as to be positioned at both end parts of a cleaning blade in the unit, and by pressing the rib 19 even in the case the belt 18 is moved in the width direction, the rib 19 is prevented from running onto the flange 20, then, the meandering control by the control means is ensured.
