摘要： PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image forming apparatus that enables recovered toner and recovered developer to be efficiently accumulated, while holding small nonuniform accumulation, in a compact recovering container in the apparatus without adding a special mechanism. SOLUTION: A developer which is recovered by a black developing device 4d, a developer which is recovered by developing devices 4a, 4b, and 4c, recovered toner which is recovered by a cleaning device 19d, and recovered toner which is recovered by cleaning devices 19a, 19b, and 19c are mixed in a specific combination, and are conveyed and accumulated into the recovering container 32 used for receiving the recovered developer and recovered toner from above. A conveying mechanism 36 separately conveys the recovered developer which is recovered by the black developing device 4d and the recovered toner which is recovered by the cleaning device 19d, and causes them to fall into corresponding positions provided separately in the recovering container 32. The recovered toner and recovered developer for black, whose many absolute quantities are generated, are accumulated in separate positions in the recovering container 32.
