摘要： PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an optical apparatus for observation, with the optical apparatus configured so as to be switched between the position used for microscope observation and the position used for other purposes, by moving the illumination light source through a simple mechanism and using only simple operations. SOLUTION: The optical apparatus 1 for observation having an illumination light source 71 includes an objective optical unit 4; an eyepiece optical unit 5; a lever member 72, provided with the illumination light source at one end and a turning shaft 72a at the other end, and freely turnably disposed about the rotating shaft; an illumination-position switching member 3 for moving the lever member in the direction of turning; and a reflecting member 74, disposed separated from the optical axis of the objective optical unit and having a reflecting surface 74a oriented toward the optical axis of the objective optical unit. The illumination light source turns about the rotating shaft, together with the lever member that turns, as the illumination-position switching member moves. The illumination light source moves between at least the two positions, one of which is the position on the optical axis of the objective optical unit and the other of which is a position where an emission light is projected towards the reflecting face of the reflecting member.
