    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a rotary Sterling engine that achieves multiple cycles.SOLUTION: The rotary Sterling engine is configured as follows. A cylinder is composed of a cylindrical rotor housing 4 whose inner peripheral surface is formed into a rice bale shape, and sidewalls located on both sides of the same. A pair of working chambers is configured to allow flowing working gas to flow thereinto and to flow out therefrom. The pair of working chambers is formed between the cylinder and a drum rotor 5 rotatably supported at the center of the cylinder. A power rotor 6, which is rotatably and slidably arranged in each of three straight grooves, provided in the drum rotor 5, and composed of a pair of curved side surfaces recessed facing each other, is repeatedly brought into sliding contact with both of the inner surface of the straight groove and the inner peripheral surface of the cylindrical rotor housing 4 in synchronization with the rotation of the drum rotor 5, thereby preventing the posture from being changed. Therefore, it allows an expansion space and a compression space to always exist in both of the pair of working chambers. Consequently, it allows the engine to include: a pair of heaters facing and communicating with a discharge space at 180° in which the total capacity of the discharge space becomes minimum; a pair of heat exchangers that communicates the pair of working chambers with each other; and a pair of output control devices that cooperatively adjusts working gas pressure intervening in the compression space.
