    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an assembling method for an expansion pipe coupling, by which a ring member can be assembled in a state where it is positioned in an annular circumferential groove without dividing an outer sleeve member and also by which inserting work of the ring member in relation to the annular circumferential groove can be quickly and easily performed with a little laborious work, by devising a mounting structure and a mounting procedure of the ring member. SOLUTION: After a ring member 5 capable of being elastically deformed in the radial direction by being partially cut in the circumferential direction is inserted into an annular circumferential groove 2b through a cutout part 2c of an outer sleeve material 2, an inner sleeve material 1 is inserted into the outer sleeve material 2 in which the ring member 5 is inserted, the ring member 5 is relatively moved in the axial direction along the outer peripheral surface of the inner sleeve material 1 while being elastically deformed in the expanding direction in the annular circumferential groove 2b, and the ring member 5 is fitted and fixed in a recessed groove 1b formed on the outer periphery of the inner sleeve material 1.

    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To facilitate manufacturing and a seal assembling work, and profitably execute the work in the viewpoints of construction period and construction cost even when a gap formed between the outer cicumferential face of an existing fluid transport pipe and the inner face of a joint opposite to this is reconstructed into a sealing construction. SOLUTION: A joint 3 having a flow passage F communicated to a through hole 2 formed on te pipe circumferential wall 1A is fittedly fixed outside a fluid transport pipe 1 in the condition of interposing a first seal material 4 for sealing between itself and the outer circumferential face of the fluid transport pipe 1, a cylindrical bush 6 is inserted extending over between the through hole 2 of the pipe circumferential wall 1A and the inner circumferential face of a flow passage wall 3A forming the flow passage F of the joint 3, and a sealing means 7 sealing between the one end part 6A facing into the fluid transport pipe 1 of the bush 6 and the inner circumferential face of the fluid transport pipe 1 is provided. Further, an annular groove 9 for mounting an annular second seal material 8 pressure-contacted with the inner circumferential face of the flow passage wall 3A of the joint 3 in the outer fitting condition is formed on the outer circumferential face of the bush 6.

    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve the reliability of the pressure resistant performance and the water-cut performance, and facilitate the manufacture so as to reduce the manufacturing cost by applying the sufficient compressing force to an elastic packing, which is held by an annular recessed part of a first-half connector body even in the case where diameter of a through hole formed in the peripheral wall of a pipe is formed as nearly same as the inner diameter of a fluid transporting pipe. SOLUTION: A first-half connector body 5, which is provided with an opening 5e communicated with a through hole formed in the peripheral wall 1 of a pipe, and a second-half connector body 4 corresponding to the first-half connector body 5 are fastened for fixation by a fastening tool D from the direction crossing the axis direction of the pipe in the condition that both the half bodies are fitted on the peripheral wall 1 of the pipe. The inner peripheral surface of the first-half connector body 5 is formed with an annular recessed part 5c for holding a ring-shaped annular elastic packing 12, which is made to pressure-contact with the periphery of the through hole 2 of the outer peripheral surface of the peripheral wall 1 of the pipe, in the condition that the annular recessed part 5c is opened toward the second-half connector body 4. Furthermore, the second-half connector body 4 is formed with presser projections 4d for compressing a packing part 12a, which is positioned closest to the second-half connector body 4 side among the elastic packing 12 held by the annular recessed part 5c, with the fastening operation of the fastening tool D.

An elastic seal member 9 brought in contact with the seat surface 6a of the valve seat 6 when a valve is closed, is attached on a side surface opposed to the valve seat 6 of the valve element 7, the allowance for allowing relative movement in a constant range along the seat surface 6a of the valve element 7 against the valve operating mechanism C, are arranged to a connecting part between the valve element 7 and the valve operating mechanism C and the valve operating mechanism C, and also a projection 8 is arranged on the side surface of the valve element 7 corresponding to the center hole 6 of the valve seat 6 so that the valve element 7 is moved in a direction where the center of the center hole 6b of the valve seat 6 and the center of the valve element 7 are matched to each other when the valve element 7 is operated to be closed while the elastic seal member 9 is compressed.

That is, in the auxiliary pressing mechanism 13, a connecting plate 20 is an extruding member for pressing the moving pieces 12 by the movement along the X direction according to the elastic deformation of the elastic seal member 10, and extruding the moving pieces 12 in the direction perpendicular to the X direction. Moreover, it is a hard supporting member for slidably and movably supporting the moving pieces 12 of a cylindrical metal fitting 23 in the direction perpendicular to the X direction.

    • PURPOSE:To improve jointing workability in a pipe joint structure which joints an existing pipe and a newly installed pipe such in a city water pipe and the like, by installing a fixing member at the inner periphery of a ring-shaped member which is fitted onto the existing pipe through a coming-off preventing member so as to travel freely. CONSTITUTION:When a newly installed pipe 2 such as a branch pipe is jointed with an existing pipe 1, the cut end part of the existing pipe 1 is inserted in the receiving port 3 which is formed at the new pipe 2, and a welded ring- shaped member 5 which is fitted onto the pipe outside edge surface of the existing pipe 1 and a flange of the receiving port 3 are connected with plural bolts 7 by pressing in a packing 6. Next, the fixing member 9 which is fitted at recessed parts 10 formed at the plural parts of the inner periphery of the ring-shaped member 5 is moved inwards in a radial direction by tightening the pressing-in bolt 8 which is screwed in the ring shaped member 5 to make the fixing member come into pressure contact with the outer periphery 4 of the pipe to connect the existing pipe 1 and the new pipe 2 in a water-sealing condition. The fixing member 9 is locked at a blot 8 through a coming-off preventing member 12 to prevent it from coming-off.
