    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an earthquake resisting pier capable of preventing the collapse of the pier irrespective of the direction of an indefinite vibration of an earthquake and having a low manufacturing cost.
      SOLUTION: A steel pipe pile K as the foundation is placed on each summit forming a polygon to the ground, and each column 20 is connected to the upper end section of the steel pipe pile K. A tie member 30 connecting both columns 20 and 20 adjacent to each other is so constituted that a mounting steel materials 31 of both end sections connected to the column 20 and a low yield point steel material 32 provided between the mounting steel materials and formed of a steel material having a yield point lower than that of each mounting steel material 31 are connected by means of welding. In this way, the tie member 30 is connected to the columns 20 and 20 adjacent to each other so that four sides of a regular square can be formed in each column 20 placed on each summit of the regular square against ground G to form one earthquake resisting pier 10 by bundling four columns 20.

    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an earthquake-resistant bridge pier which reduces manufacturing costs, and which is prevented from colliding, without reference to the uncertain direction of the shock of the earthquake.
      SOLUTION: A steel pipe pile K as a foundation is arranged on each apex forming a polygon with respect to the ground, and a column material 11 is joined to an upper end of the steel pipe pile K. In a tie member which connects the adjacent column materials 11 and 11 together, a low-yield-point steel material 122 is provided between mounting steel materials 121 at both ends which are joined to the column material 11, and a plate-like steel material with a yield point lower than that of the steel material 121 is joined to by welding. Thus, the tie members 12 are joined to the respective adjacent column materials 11 and 11, which are arranged at the respective apexes of a regular tetragon on the ground G, in such a manner as to form four sides of the regular tetragon, and the four column materials 11 and 11 are bundled, so that one earthquake-resistant bridge pier 10 can be formed.

    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for treating livestock excrement and an apparatus for treating the livestock excrement which can make easy in management and maintenance, less in odor and low in cost and can use different kinds of excrement of livestock as a mixture.
      SOLUTION: The excrement is allowed to flow into a mixing vessel 31 of an excrement mixing means 30 of the livestock excrement treatment apparatus 100, a mixing drive part 32 is operated to produce an excrement solution and the excrement solution is allowed to stagnate in a stagnation vessel 41 and, thereafter, is allowed to flow into a backet 10 by a prescribed amount. A prescribed quantity of recalcined PS ash stored in a storage vessel 51 of a residue adding means 50 is charged into the backet 10 and, thereby, the recalcined PS (paper sludge) ash is added to the excrement solution. The excrement solution to which the recalcined PS ash is added is moved to a conveyance pipe path 22 of a conveyance stirring means 20 connected with the lower side of the backet 10, the excrement solution and the recalcined PS ash are stirred and mixed in the conveyance pipe path 22 by a rotating screw 23, the water-reduced excrement which hardly emits odor and allows water content to be reduced is produced and is conveyed to the outside of the conveyance pipe path 22.
