    • PURPOSE:To apply a mildewproofing effect on all the inside of a wall structure, by clogging a gap formed between inner-lining layers of the adjacent wall panel units with putty containing a mildewproofing agent, and attaching a face panel onto the inner-lining layer through an adhesive layer containing a mildewproofing agent. CONSTITUTION:A plaster board as an inner-lining layer 2 is attached to both sides of a structural base member 1 made of wood and the like and having a frame structure in order to construct a wall panel P. A plastic putty material 3, which contains a mildewproofing agent and ethylene/vinyl acetate resins, is applied from the interior side into a gap C formed between the inner-lining layers of the adjacent wall panels, to thereby clog the gap. The inner-lining layer 2 is coated with an adhesive 4 of the same material as the putty 3 containing a mildewproofing agent and ethylene/vinyl acetate resin and the like. Then, on the inner-lining layer is attached a front panel 5. This construction completely prevents mildew from entering the inside of the wall structure from the front panel 5.

    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To glue a wall paper with substantially no visible joint.
      SOLUTION: When two wall papers 3a, 3b are glued on a substrate 1 with setting end face faces 5a, 5b of the two wall papers 3a, 3b to abut each other, an aqueous glue 4 is applied on the end face of the first wall paper glued to the substrate and then the end face of the second wall paper is joined and glued to the end face of the first wall paper. A wall paper gluing method comprises the steps of sticking an underlay tape 6 to the rear face of the joining section of the first wall paper, sticking a curing tape 7 to the rear face of the joining section of the second wall paper, gluing the first wall paper to the substrate, superposing the curing tape on the underlay tape to glue the second wall paper to the substrate, forming a cut 8 in the superposed part of the first wall paper and the second wall paper to form the end faces of the wall papers, removing waste of the first wall paper and the second wall paper and the underlay tape, gluing the whole face of the first wall paper to the substrate, applying the aqueous glue to the end face of the first wall face and removing the curing tape, setting the end face of the second wall paper to abut the end face of the second wall face and gluing the second wall paper to the substrate and removing the aqueous glue squeezed out of the end faces.
