摘要： PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To efficiently discharge a high quality steel by arranging a sp.gr. adjusting part so that the material having different sp.gr. can be fitted to the head part of a dart which is provided with a head and a stem and placed at a steel tapping hole for tapping the steel from a converter to shoot the dart according to slag practically produced. SOLUTION: The dart 1 is constituted with the nearly semi-spherical shaped head 10 and the stem 20 fixed so as to extend downward at the center part of the lower surface 10a thereof. When the molten steel is tapped by tilting the converter, the shifting of the dart is regulated by placing the stem 20 to the steel tapping hole and the head 10 is gradually dipped together with the flow-out of the steel, and finally, the steel tapping hole is plugged with the lower surface 10a. The sp.gr. adjusting part (cylindrical recessed part) at the center of an upper surface 10b is preformed and a sp.gr. adjusting material is filled so that the sp.gr. of the head becomes the same degree of the sp.gr. as that of the slag, and thus, the slag having different sp.gr. can be removed.
