    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a technology adjusting a position on a steering shaft axial line in regard to a genuine steering wheel installed in a vehicle wherein a telescopic device is not mounted in a steering column and having an integrated structure with a boss.
      SOLUTION: The telescopic spacer comprises a spacer side steering shaft fastened to a wheel side boss portion of the genuine steering wheel; and spacer main body fastened to a column side boss portion attached to an end portion of a vehicle side steering shaft supported by a steering column, and fixing/supporting the spacer side steering shaft. The telescopic spacer is interposed between the genuine steering wheel and the column side boss portion, and couples the genuine steering wheel and the column side boss portion.

    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a power transmission device having a reduced size and suppressed play in a rotating direction of a plug with respect to a socket. SOLUTION: The power transmission device includes the plug, the socket and a sleeve, wherein a ball is fitted in a through-hole of the socket. The ball is held movably between a locked position where part of the ball engages with a recessed portion to prevent the rotation of the plug relative to the socket and the movement thereof toward the rotational center axis when the sleeve is moved in one of the reciprocating directions and an unlocked position where part of the ball can disengage from the recessed portion to permit the movement of the plug relative to the socket toward the rotational center axis when the sleeve is moved in the other direction. When part of the ball engages with the recessed portion, the ball abuts on one position of each of the recessed portion, the peripheral wall of the through-hole and the sleeve, namely, on totally three positions, and is held thereon. A flat surface including three contact points which abut on the ball traverses a reference flat surface including the rotational axis of the plug and the center of the ball.
