    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a hologram recording/erasing device and a method for recording/erasing a hologram, with which selective erasing of a multiple hologram can be accurately carried out with a small and simple device configuration without requiring adjustment of an optical system.     • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an incinerator ash stabilization method which suppresses the leach amount of heavy metals, especially Pb contained in incinerator ash from general waste.
      SOLUTION: The incinerator ash stabilization method by ultraviolet irradiation using light energy has advantages (1) that it is not influenced by the difference in the date of sampling incinerator ash and an irradiation distance, (2) that the leach suppression is not by the neutralization of pH, and (3) that as regards irradiation conditions, stabilization is achieved only by ultraviolet radiation. Thus, the ultraviolet irradiation can promote stabilization by lowering the leach amount of, especially, Pb irrespective of pH without the necessity for subsidiary works. Further, it has been found out that infrared irradiation exhibits an effect of lowering the salt concentration of incinerator ash.

    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve problems in which acid hydrolysis method for producing oligosaccharide is not good in yield, because the method causes random decomposition and decomposes the oligosaccharide to inactive monosaccharide and makes it difficult to selectively stop the composition in oligosaccharide, and the method requires after-treatment for removing an acid catalyst, though hydrolysis with an acid is simple and effective as conventional method for degrading polysaccharide, and a decomposition method using subcritical or suppercritical water makes it difficult to stop decomposition in oligosaccharide as well as the acid hydrolysis method and is not adequate to selectively carry out decomposition control as the oligosaccharide, because strong oxidation reaction occurs and as a result, the oligosaccharide becomes low concentration and the production apparatus is expensive and the method is not an effective method, though the decomposition method using the subcritical or suppercritical water which is safe to organisms because the method does not use any chemical exists as another method.
      SOLUTION: A powder raw material containing a polysaccharide which is slightly soluble in water is solidified, to form a pressure-holding article by itself, and the pressure-holding article is passed through high-temperature and high-pressure steam, to partially decompose the pressure-holding article into an oligosaccharide which is soluble in water. As a result, the oligosaccharide is solubilized in water and is extracted and recovered together with condensed water, to thereby suppress excess decomposition.

    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve problems in which PBN which is a conventional commercial spin trapping agent has not sufficient capture of active oxygen, though the PBN has good crystallinity and synthesis of DMPO derivative is complicated, though the derivative has good affinity for active oxygen.
      SOLUTION: The reagent brings, especially, capture of active oxygen into action. Since the reagent is readily synthesized and the reagent has high fat-soluble property, measurement in a biological substance is made possible. Since the active oxygen and a free radical deeply relate to diseases and health such as carcinogenesis, aging and lifestyle-related diseases, the spin trapping agent in which determination method having high reliability/specificity is desired has extremely high usability in research of these diseases. As interest in health foods increases, evaluation of antioxidant potential of foods becomes important. The spin trapping agent has effect making rapid determination of antioxidant components in foods possible.
