    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a sudden acceleration preventive device preventing an automobile from suddenly moving if an accelerator is promptly pressed by mistake while a brake should be pressed promptly in the automobile.
      SOLUTION: A lock mechanism similar to a lock mechanism for seat belt is provided to the accelerator. Alternatively, a lock mechanism is provided between an accelerator shaft and a brake shaft such that the brake also works when the accelerator is suddenly pressed. Alternatively, a sensor is provided to the accelerator to invalidate the pressing of the accelerator in itself (inhibit a throttle from moving even when the accelerator is further pressed), or lock the accelerator not to move, when the pressing speed and/or acceleration at the initial stage of the pressing of the accelerator is a threshold value or more.

    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce bending deflection of a bolt in order to solve the following problems: when bending deflection occurs in the bolt due to bending vibration in a bolt fastening member of a machine or a construction structure, repetitive bending stress amplitude occurs in the bolt to reduce fatigue strength, and especially when a vibration close to natural frequency of the bolt is applied and the bolt resonates, the bending deflection increases and the repetitive bending stress amplitude also increases.SOLUTION: In the bolt fastening member, an opening between a bolt hole and a bolt is filled with a dilatancy fluid. The dilatancy fluid prevents the bolt from being rapidly deflected by the bending vibration, thereby reducing the repetitive bending stress amplitude of the bolt as a result.
