    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To ascertain the result of processing executed during the interruption period of communication even in a case that the communication is interrupted by the unexpected situation.SOLUTION: This medical image processing system includes a server equipped with a processing part and a screen forming part. In the processing part, application for forming or editing a medical image on the basis of the indication from a client is executed and the screen forming part receives the processing result of the application to form a screen to thereby distribute the same to the client. Further, the server is equipped with a cutting detection part, a screen memory part and screen memory control part. The cutting detection part detects that the communication with the client is interrupted and the screen memory control part is constituted so as to store the screen, which is formed during a predetermined first period on the basis of the detection timing of the interruption with the communication, in the screen memory part. A screen regeneration part distributes the screen stored in the screen memory part to the client.

    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To efficiently switch from a reference line-of-sight direction to a standard line-of-sight direction by a simple operation when alternately displaying image data of the standard line-of-sight direction and the reference line-of-sight direction. SOLUTION: When performing puncture treatment under the real time observation of ultrasonic image data, a standard line-of-sight direction setting part 81 sets the standard line-of-sight direction on the basis of the insertion direction of a puncture needle detected by a direction/position detection part 6, and a manual display mode setting part 83 sets a display parameter on the basis of the standard line-of-sight direction and preserves it in a display parameter storage part 84. In the meantime, an image reconstitution part 9 and a display part 11 generate and display the standard image data of the standard line-of-sight direction by using the display parameter, then interrupt the display to generate and display the reference image data of the reference line-of-sight direction set in a desired direction, and continue the generation and display of the image data of the standard line-of-sight direction by using the preserved display parameter further.
