    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To accomplish improvement in efficiency, compactification, reduction in energy consumption, and silencing in a reciprocating engine. SOLUTION: A piston 2 and cross head guide 3 are integrated together so as to be installed in a cylinder 1 and a piston guide 6. A floating cross head 4 slides in a groove laterally so as to transmit a load of the piston 2 to a crank shaft 5. Intake valves 7, 8 and an exhaust valve 9 are arranged in the cylinder 1, while a balance weight, whose phase is deviated from that of the piston 2 by 180 deg., is installed on each of the right side and the left side in the crank shaft 5. In this way, a connection rod can be dispensed with, so that the crank shaft 5 and the floating cross head 4 serve as rotational motion bodies, while the piston 2 and the cross head guide 3, which are integrated together, serve as reciprocational motion bodies. The floating cross head 4 seems to reciprocate, however, this motion is a result of circular motion of its center of gravity and is added to a circular motion mass.

    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve energy saving, water saving, and lifelines, and prevent water pollution by parallely supplying treated water and vapor from a center where there are jointly provided a water service plant and a cogeneration plant to a green space serving also as a refuge space for each separate district. SOLUTION: A center 7 where a cogeneration plant 8 and a water reclamation system plant 9 are jointly provided is provided in the earth of a green space serving also as an escape space, and low pressure vapor produced utilizing waste heat of the cogeneration is used as a district heating heat source through a vapor piping 5. Hereby, the need of a gas piping is eliminated. Cooking is electrified. With low pressure vapor there is no trouble of a secondary disaster even if a person is wet, and provided a person gets wet, the vapor is easily found because its being white and also a repairment is eased. In addition, provision of a treated water supply piping 4 permits the use of a water supply line of another system other than public water supplies to hereby improve safety upon any disaster. Further, also for district heating safety and security are ensured because hot water supply is achieved only by mixing vapor with treated water. Since also sewage may be sufficient to be supplied up to the center 7, facility only requires a relatively short distance to ease construction.

    • PURPOSE:To achieve large-scale energy saving and prevent shipwreck and provide a comfortable cruise by causing a restoring force to act on a submarine ship body, and providing a bridge and cabins etc., in an upper ship body above sea level, and connecting both ship bodies to each other using a communication tower of small resistance against navigation. CONSTITUTION:Because a submarine ship body 1 has an engine 2 or other weighty objects disposed therein in such a manner that the center of gravity of the ship body 1 is below the perpendicular of the center of buoyancy located below the center of the submarine ship body a restoring force constantly acts on the ship body to hold the ship body horizontal. The submarine ship body 1 is completely submerged in the sea and is therefore not affected by the sea surface; only a communication tower 8 has a draft portion but the draft portion has slim cross section and so does not cause any problem, and also the ship body 1 would not roll in bad weather. Therefore an upper ship body 5 communicated with the submarine ship body 1 through the communication tower 8 is also held horizontal and would not roll. Buoyancy is obtained mainly by the submarine ship body 1 and partly by the submerged portion of the communication tower 8 and also by the lift of an auxiliary hydrofoil 9, by which the upper ship body 5 can be held above sea level. The wave making portion of the ship is only the slim communication tower 8 and resistance in making waves is small and engine power is saved so energy saving can be achieved.
