摘要： PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a color imaging/color display device for imaging reflected light of illuminating light and displaying its image at real time in color on a display of the display device, at a low cost by further simplifying configuration.
SOLUTION: This device uses an illuminating light source 12 for switching the light of fundamental colors in predetermined order to project the light, as an illuminating means, uses a solid imaging element 2 for black and white as an imaging means, and uses a backlight-type black-white liquid crystal display element 24 capable of changing the color of light of the backlight 24 to the same fundamental color synchronously with the color change of light of the light source, as the display of the display device 20. When the illuminating light source 12 emits light of a certain fundamental color, the color of the backlight 24 when an image signal by the solid imaging element 2 of an observation image (a photographed object image) by the light is displayed by the liquid crystal display element 22, turns into the fundamental color emitted from the light source.
