    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a boot made up by easily integrating split boot parts with each other.
      SOLUTION: In this boot, a hook part K137 in a fixing band 137 of a second split boot part 13 is engaged with an engagement part K119 in a fixing-band-fitting part 119 of a first split boot part 11. Thus, an engagement is achieved between the fixing band 137 of the second split boot part 13 and the fixing-band-fitting part 119 of the first split boot part 11. In like manner, engagement of a fixing band 117 of the first split boot part 11 with a fixing band-fitting part 139 of the second split boot part 13 is achieved. The fixing band and the fixing band-fitting part, which correspond respectively to the first split boot part 11 and the second split boot part 13, are engaged with each other. Thus, the first split boot part 11 and the second split boot part 13 can be easily integrated.

    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a manufacturing method of a polyester elastomer drive shaft boot with a pair of parting planes.
      SOLUTION: The manufacturing method of the polyester elastomer drive shaft boot comprises a molding step S1, an annular molding forming step S3, an annular structure fixing step S5, a heating step S7 and a cooling step S9. The molding step S1 molds a boot shaped molding 5 with a pair of parting planes by injection-molding the polyester elastomer as its material. The annular molding forming step S3 forms an annular molding 7 by joining the parting planes of a molding 5 and bringing the molding 5 into an annular structure. The annular structure fixing step S5 fixes the annular structure of the annular molding 7 so that joint parting planes may not be liberated in the annular molding 7. The heating step S7 heats the fixed annular molding 7 at a predetermined temperature. The cooling step S9 cools the heated annular molding 7. A polyester elastomer boot 3 is obtained by these steps.
