    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To develop a tool dedicated for countersinking, which is the large-diameter long-span countersinking tool, however, is lightweight and has high rigidity, achieving high dimensional precision machining without chatter vibration of the tool due to flexural deformation even when attached to a horizontal spindle of a horizontal machining center.
      SOLUTION: The entire of the countersinking tool is comprised of a cutter head 1, a carbide bar 8, a body 9, and a holder 12. These components are connected to each other by shrink fitting, and are made into the integral countersinking tool having an extension length L being seven times or more greater than a diameter D of the cutter head 1. The weight reduction and high rigidity of the entire tool are achieved, although the tool has the large diameter and long span, by employing the shrink fitting and the narrow-diameter carbide bar 8. When attached to the machining center, particularly the horizontal machining center, the high precision countersinking is carried out without flexural deformation.

    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a buckling restraining-type axial force bearing member which is composed of a steel core having a cruciform cross section and four restraining members each formed of an angle steel, wherein the axial force bearing member can sufficiently exert a restraining effect against partial buckling without additionally providing special members, and makes the 100% use of the energy absorbing ability of the core.
      SOLUTION: The buckling restraining-type axial force bearing member 1 is formed by arranging a yielding portion 2A at an axial intermediate portion of the core steel plate 2 having the cruciform cross section, attaching mounting portions 2B to both ends of the same, for mounting the axial force bearing member on a structure, attaching the four restraining members 3 each formed of the angle steel to the yielding portion 2A having the cruciform cross section so as to exhibit a cruciform cross section, and connecting each pair of the restraining members 3 pinching each piece of the core steel plate 2 by means of spacers 4, bolts 5, and nuts 6. Herein the thickness Ta of the restraining member 3 is set to satisfy the relationship of Ta≥0.4×Tc, and the pitch p of the bolts assembling the restraining members 3 is set to satisfy the relationship of p≤50×Tc (Tc: plate thickness of the core). Thus when the core is expandably and contractibly deformed due to an external force such as an earthquake, the axial bearing member is subjected to yield deformation without being buckled at the time of contraction.

      SOLUTION: This rotation testing machine is an apparatus for testing rotations of a drive unit 4. The rotation testing machine is provided with: a drive motor 11 to be connected to a pinion axle 4a or an axile 4b of the drive unit 4; a dynamo 14 to be connected to the axile 4b or the pinion axle 4a of the drive unit 4; and connecting shaft parts 12 and 16 for connecting the drive motor 11 and the dynamo 14 to the pinion axle 4a or the axile 4b of the drive unit 4 via a joint 22. Connecting shafts of the connecting shaft parts 12 and 16 are supported by oil film bearings, and the connecting shaft parts 12 and 16 and the drive unit 4 are installed in an anechoic chamber 17. No-load/load rotation test is performed at a high speed exceeding 300 km/h close to an actual vehicle in a satisfactory environment without large noise from bearings, thereby accurately measuring and evaluating noise of the drive unit at rotation tests.
