The web plate 6 is attached onto a lower surface of the bottom plate portion 2. After removing a felloe guard of a concrete side edge, the above constructed felloe guard unit is attached to a floor slab by using the extending portion of the bottom plate portion and the web plate by means of bolts 4. Thus, the width of the road is expanded.

When a filler such as cement or a resin is filled into the space between the steel sheets 1, 2, rigidity and strength can be improved, thereby axial force is applied to the steel pipes 6, the rigidity of the whole structural body can be improved, the number of the bolts 3 and the thickness of the steel sheets 1, 2 can be reduced, the steel weight can be reduced, and the effect of a dead load on the whole structure can be reduced.
