    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To minimize generation of dioxins in a small or intermediate scale combustion furnace by supplying a limited quantity of air required for thermal decomposition into a primary furnace and combusting generated gas in a combustion cylinder with minimum necessary combustion support air. SOLUTION: Division pipes 41-5 interconnecting a blower 1 and the bottom part of a primary furnace 3 through an air supply pipe 2 provided with a regulation valve, i.e., an air supply regulator 2b, are provided, respectively, with regulation valves 51-5 continuous to a time series controller 5b. Refuse material is thrown from upper and lateral doors 3a, 3b provided in the primary furnace 3 and a flame is fed from an ignition burner 8 in order to thermally decompose the deposited material. Generated gas principally flows through the lower edge opening 3b of an air duct 6 and an opening 7 into a cylinder 7 and combustion support air from the blower 1 is preheated sufficiently in the air duct 6 before being delivered from ring-like narrow holes 6c1-c3 into the gas combustion cylinder 7 through the outer circumferential air duct 6b thereof. Generated gas raises the flame temperature sequentially while combusting from the outer circumference.

    • PURPOSE:To obtain a highly efficient composting device by providing two horizontal rotating shafts in a horizontal tank, furnishing a garbage transfer impeller to each rotating shaft and specifying the distance between the centers of the two rotating shafts, inner tank wall shape, etc. CONSTITUTION:Two horizontal rotating shafts 20 and 20' are provided in a horizontal tank A, and impellers 30 and 30' for transferring garbage are furnished to the shafts 20 and 20'. The distance L between the centers of the shafts 20 and 20' is controlled to a minimum so that the impellers 30 and 30' of the shafts are not brought into contact with each other. Meanwhile, the distance is adjusted to a maximum so that retention is not caused between the outermost circular paths of the impellers. Further, the inner tank wall below the horizontal plane including the shaft centers is separated from the outermost circular path of the impellers 30 and 30' by 10 to 50 mm, and the tank bottom surface is smoothly formed along the outermost circular path. Besides, the inner tank wall above the horizontal plane is inclined to an angle of 5 to 30 deg., and a composting device without any retention in the tank is obtained.

    • PURPOSE:To obtain a piezoelectric vibration gyro wherein a structure is simple, adhesive agent is not needed, a fluctuation in characteristics is small and zero balance adjustment at the time of no rotation is possible by a simple electric circuit. CONSTITUTION:2n (n is an integer of 3 or larger) stripe electrodes 2l which equally divide a circumference are formed in parallel with a lengthwise direction of a piezoelectric ceramic cylinder 10 on an outer peripheral surface of the piezoelectric ceramic cylinder 10. The piezoelectric ceramic cylinder 10 is bent and vibrated substantially in the direction of a symmetric surface by applying exciting ac voltage having frequency approximately equal to the resonant frequency of a bending vibration mode of the piezoelectric ceramic cylinder to (m) (m is a natural number) stripe electrode slits which are arranged symmetrically with respect to the surface containing the center line of one of the stripe electrodes 21 and the center axis of the piezoelectric ceramic cylinder 10. In addition, a piezoelectric vibration gyro for detecting voltage generated on one or a plurality of stripe electrode slits located symmetrically with respect to the symmetric surface can be obtained.
