摘要： PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a doctor apparatus capable of performing doctoring work under a proper pressing force in high efficiency. SOLUTION: A blade holder 5 is supported in a state enabling linear reciprocating motion in the axial direction of a roll by a linear sliding mechanism 4 attached to a doctor back 3 of the doctor apparatus 1. A doctor blade 6 having a narrow width is held by the blade holder 5. The doctor blade 6 is pressed against the outer circumference of a roll and the doctoring of the outer circumference of the roll is performed in the state while sliding the doctor blade 6 in the axial direction of the roll. The application and release of the force, the start and stop of the sliding motion and the setting of the sliding range of the doctor blade 6 can be carried out by a manual operation board 120. Accordingly, the overheating of the edge of the doctor blade 6 can be avoided and the doctoring of exclusively the necessary part of the blade can be performed by this process.

Consequently, the doctor device is supported on the side of the frame 7 in a state fixed to the surface of a roller at a proper angle position.
