    • PURPOSE:To convey granular materials, by connecting the lower opening of a hopper through a shut-off valve to a pipe section which communicates the discharge port of a high-pressure blower with a discharge pipe. CONSTITUTION:When a shut-off valve 12 is closed, the air-pressure in a hopper 2 lowers so that high-pressure air stream is effected in a suction hose 7. By moving a suction port 13 along a sand layer 17 in a clean water reservoir 16 with the suction port 13 being made near to the surface of the sand layer 13, filtrated sand from the sand layer 17 is sucked under a high-pressure, through the suction port 13, the suction hose 7 and an upper opening 6, successively, and is then accumulated in the hopper 2. Since air having flown into a cyclone separator 18 from the discharge port 8 of a high-pressure blower 3 is vented to the outside of the system through a ventilator port 18, the filtrated sand accumulated in the hopper 2 successively drops into a pipe section 10 when the shut-off valve 12 is opened, and is then thrusted out by means of the above-mentioned air stream directed from the discharge port 8 to the cyclone separator 14, thereby the sand is discharged to the outside of the system through the lower opening 19 of the cyclone separator 14.

    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent a door from being opened in an earthquake by mounting a latch bar releasing device having a releasing knob and a two-stage pulley on the reverse side of a double wing door, and making an ordinarily locked type latch releasable with a small stroke. SOLUTION: A device in which a release knob 21 and a two-stage pulley 23 formed of a small pulley 22 and a large pulley 24 are united by a protecting case 2 is mounted on the reverse side of the double wing door of a cupboard or the like, and connected to an ordinarily locked type latch bar 41 by a wire 3. When the release knob 21 or release button is pushed down in the general opening and closing of the door, the two-stage pulley 23 is rotated to largely move the latch bar 41 with a small stroke, so that it can be released from a latch receiver 5 to easily open and close the door. Since the latch bar 41 is ordinarily closed, the door is never opened even in earthquake. The latch bar 41 may be of ordinarily opened type which is closed only at earthquake. Thus, a cupboard never opened in earthquake can be easily provided without losing the appearance and interior property of the cupboard.
