      SOLUTION: This alarm device is provided with an alarm and the storage case. The alarm is provided with casings 10 and 20 having switches 11 and 21 respectively, a conductor 30 transmitting the conduction state of the switches 11 and 21 from one casing 10 to the other casing 20, and an IC 27, or a conduction detecting means detecting conduction/non-conduction of the conductor 30. This alarm device is so formed as to output the alarm by a buzzer 23 based on the detecting result of the IC 27 and the respective casings 10 and 20 are attached to the storage case by winding around the conductor 30 around the circumference of the storage case.

      SOLUTION: The anti-theft device comprises a plurality of tags 2 that function as a sensor attached to an article 1, and a monitoring device 4 to which the tags 2 are connected through a connection cable 3. The monitoring device 4 comprises a microcomputer 12, a sensor input circuit 14 having a plurality of ports 13 to which each tag 2 is connected, and an alarm issuing circuit 15 which issues an alarm. When the microcomputer 12 is started, it stores whether or not the tag 2 is mounted, or the state of the tag 2 at each port 13 of the sensor input circuit 14, stores the port 13 to which the tag 2 is not mounted, or which is in a non-monitoring state, as being in a resting state, sets the port to which the tag 2 is mounted, or which is in a monitoring-enabled state on the monitoring state in response to a signal inputted from the sensor input circuit 14, and drives the alarm issuing circuit 15 at the time of the abnormality of the tag 2 in response to a signal inputted from the sensor input circuit 14.
