    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a high-rigidity bearing wall device of a wooden building, which can prevent damage by decreasing deformation occurring in a bearing wall and its leg portion when resisting a unidirectional horizontal force, and particularly decreasing the deformation of the building even on the occurrence of earthquakes etc.
      SOLUTION: A lower portion of the bearing wall device 1 is fixed on a foundation, and an upper portion thereof is fixed to a fixing member such as a beam. The bearing wall device 1 is used for the wooden building, so as to resist the unidirectional horizontal force imposed on the fixing member by the earthquakes etc. The bearing wall device 1 includes the bearing wall 2 like a high-rigidity wood panel, and the leg portion 3 which is bonded and fixed to the lower portion of at least one wall surface of the bearing wall, so as to be fixed on the foundation 4.

Further a second-story floor panel 18 is mounted on the first-story wall panel, then the drift pins are driven into the drift pin holes formed in the floor panel and the wall panel to connect between the former and the latter, and a second-story wall panel 26 is mounted on the second-story floor panel, followed by driving the drift pins into the drift pin holes formed in the wall panel and the floor panel to connect between the former and the latter.
