摘要： PURPOSE:To miniaturize and integrate devices and to improve transmission performance by incorporating an optical branching part and electric control modulating parts for respective branch lines in line constitution. CONSTITUTION:A branching part 8 for the purpose of passive branching of light beams is provided at the beginning of thin film lines. Since a thin film 7 and a substrate 6 have an electrooptic effect, for example, cutoff type switches 9 are disposed as electric control modulating parts for the respective thin film branch lines 7a and the electrodes 10 and 11 thereof are connected to the common and respective channels of a control signal generating circuit 12. When applied with voltages to the electrodes 10, 11, the switches 9 increase the refractive indices of the inter-electrode spacings, thereby connecting the interrupted thin film branch lines 7a. It is possible to miniaturize and integrate the devices and to improve the transmission performance by incorporating the optical branching part and the electric control modulating parts for the respective branch lines into the line constitution in this way.

摘要： PURPOSE:To stabilize the sensitivity and to allow a photoelectric transducer to function with a high precision, by using a reference light source besides a light to be measured and correcting the sensitivity variation of the photoelectric transducer itself through a feedback loop by the signal of the reference light source. CONSTITUTION:A reference light 2 is used besides a light 1 to be measured, and lights 2 and 1 are modulated through rotating choppers 3 and 4 by frequencies f1 and f2 respectively and are made incident to a detector 5 having a photoelectric transducer. Respective frequency components are taken out from the voltage signal, which is obtained by amplifying an output current (i) from the photoelectric transducer in an amplifier 6, by individual filter circuits 7 and 8 to obtain DC output signals through rectifiers 11 and 12. A DC output voltage signal SIG1 from reference light frequency components is compared with a comparison voltage VREF in a comparator 13, and a voltage +VB obtained by amplifying the differential voltage is fed back as a bias voltage to the photoelectric transducer.

摘要： PURPOSE:To obtain sufficient sensitivity even in the case of reading the image of a color document of high density value by providing a slit for radiating the light reflected by a reflecting member and the light emitted from light source, toward the surface of a document and specifying the width of the slit in relation to that of an optical line sensor. CONSTITUTION:A slit 9a for radiating the light reflected by the inner peripheral surface of a reflector 9 and the light emitted directly from a fluorescent lamp 8, toward a document 3 is bored at the part, corresponding to the detecting part of an optical line sensor 7, of the reflector 9. The maximum effect can be obtained by setting the width measure of this slit 9a in relation to the element width measure of the optical line sensor 7 in such a way that the width of the light after passing an image focusing lens 6 becomes approximately three times larger than before. Constantly sufficient light quantity can be thereby obtained even in the case of using a fluorescent lamp or the like as light source, and sufficient sensitivity can be obtained even in the case of reading the image of a color document of high density value.
